What is VAC?

The purpose of the Viking Athletic Club (VAC) is to support fund raising for all sports, to promote participation, school spirit and commitment to Brentwood Middle School Athletics.

Directions to Opponents

BGA -Take Franklin Road south to Mack Hatcher and turn right. Turn right at the first light and right onto Frontage Road. The school will be on your left.

Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) - North on Granny white Pike 1.7 miles. Left on Old Hickory Blvd. 3.5 miles. CPA on left. Soccer field and gym on right side of school.

David Lipscomb School-Take Granny White Pike North. Go through 2 traffic lights (Old Hickory Blvd. and Harding Place), stay on Granny White and stay to the right. The parking area is about 1/2 mile on the left across from the shopping area.

DCA-Take I-65 north to I-40 east to Exit 219 (Stewarts Ferry)Turn left onto Stewarts Ferry and travel until it dead-ends at Lebanon Road. Turn right onto Lebanon Road, go to the 2nd light and turn left onto Danycrest (It looks like you are going into a subdivision.) The school is at the end of the road.

Dickson Middle School-Take I-40 West to exit 172 (Dickson/Centerville Exit). Turn right off of the interstate; continue until you come to East College Street. There is a traffic light here and a Walgreen's on the right. Turn left and go to the 2nd street on the right. The field is behind the school.

Ensworth Middle School -Take I-65 north to I-440 west to the first exit (21st Avenue). At the first light turn left onto Woodlawn. The school is on the left about one mile after you pass Estes Road intersection. The softball fields are behind the track.

Ensworth High Campus - North on Granny white Pike 1.7 miles. Left on Old Hickory Blvd., dead ends at Highway 100, turn Left. School is down Hwy. 100 on the left. For soccer, take the 2nd entrance to the high school.

Fairview Middle School -Take Murray Lane to Hillsboro Road, turn left onto Hillsboro Road and travel towards Franklin. Turn right onto Highway 96 west. Turn left onto Highway 100. Fairview Middle School is 5 miles on the left next to Fairview High School.

Franklin Road Academy -Take Murray Lane to Franklin Road, turn left going north, FRA is on the right just before Harding Road. Overton High School is right before you come to FRA.

Freedom Middle School - Take Franklin Road South to Dotson's intersection. Turn right onto River Road. Go through several stop signs. At light continue straight onto Highway 96 west. The school is on the right. The Intermediate school is the first school and the middle school is about one mile past the Intermediate school on your right (There is a big fence around it.)

Grassland Middle School - Take Murray Lane to Hillsboro Road. Turn left on Hillsboro Road. At the second traffic light, turn left into Grassland Middle School.

Grassland Middle(if Soccer @ Cheek Park) East on Murray Lane to Franklin Road, turn right. Travel 5.4 miles to Mack Hatcher Memorial Parkway, turn right. This dead ends at Hillsboro Road, turn left. Claude Yates Drive is about 1/10th of a mile on the left, turn and Cheek Park is to the left of the FHS complex.

Harding Academy - Take Old Hickory Boulevard to Highway 100. Turn left onto Highway 100, go past West Gate and turn right at Harding Road (at traffic light). The school is on the left about 1/2 mile.

Harpeth Hall - Take I-65 north to Harding Road exit. Turn left onto Harding Road and travel on Harding Road until it crosses Hillsboro Road. Turn right at the first light after Hillsboro Road onto Estes. Go to the next light and turn left onto Hobbs. The school entrance is immediately on the left.

Heritage Middle School - Take Murray Lane to Franklin Road. Turn right onto Franklin Road to Concord Road. Turn left on Concord Road to I-65 south to Peytonsville Road Exit. Turn right on Goose Creek by-pass and travel until it runs into Highway 31. Turn left onto Highway 31. Go to the second light and turn right into Heritage Middle School. Heritage Middle School is behind Heritage Elementary.

MBA - Take I-65 north to I-440 west, get off at West End Avenue, and go south. The school is on your left across the street from St. Cecelia and Overbrook (before you come to St. Thomas Hospital across.)

Page Middle School - Take I-65 south to Franklin exit, turn left onto Highway 96. At Arno Road turn right and stay on Arno road for 5 miles. Page Middle School is on the left; Page High School is on the right.

USN - Take I-65 north to I-440 west, towards Memphis. From I-440 merge left onto I-40 west. Take Exit 204 and move right onto Briley Parkway. Take Exit 25 (County Hospital Road) and make an immediate right. The fields are on the right.

Woodland Middle School - Take Murray Lane to Franklin Road. Turn right on Franklin Road, then left on Concord Road. Turn right onto Wilson Pike, then left at the first light. This is Volunteer Parkway. Woodland Middle is behind Crockett Elementary School. Continue past Woodland into Crockett Park, if game is played in that location.
